SCORE

This is from my trip to Rite Aid today. I love posting things when I feel like I get such a great deal. So in this trip I got 3 packages of huggie diapers and lamisil foot cream (because you know those men have dirty feet). Out of pocket, including tax, I spent $20.14. But here is the good part:

In part of buying the diapers, I received $6 back to spend in their store

and

I'm going to get in return:
$10 rebate for buying the diapers
$6 rebate for buying the foot cream

So all in all from subtracting the rebates from my total I only spent $4.14, but if you include the $6 I got back to spend in the store the total would be $0 with a profit of $2.14.

Today

Today Eric and I went to a much needed temple session! It was exactly what the doctor order. I am so thankful that I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

almost 28 weeks

Lets see here
*I can't sit and bend over like a normal person
*I am putting on weight now
*This kid loves to move and night and if he doesn't like the position I am laying in he will definitely let me know
*It's uncomfortable to clean the tub
*I have to stand further away from the sink to wash dishes because of my belly
*I am getting random dirty marks on my shirt from my stomach rubbing against things, and Eric asks me "have I been painting" (lets say dork)
*I actually look like a pregnant person now, not just a awkwardly chubby person
*I'm not swelling, unless I am on my feet for a long period of time
*I am feeling more crafty
*I haven't puked yet
*I want to clean and organize things
*I love using the pregnant card (IT'S AWESOME!)

I'm sure that I could add more to this list, but I think this is good for now. I love being pregnant, but I guess I can say that because I have had a really good pregnancy thus far.

Update, we still don't have a name. Choosing a name is harder than I thought it would be because I want it to be a good, strong name, but not a common name.

We'll time for dinner, bye bye

P.S. Eric says I am pretty mobile for being 27 weeks pregnant!?!

All for under a $1

This is my Rite Aid trip for this week. Total out of pocket expense (not including tax) $4.08 which equals .81 cents an item. With tax included the total was $7.38, it came to about $1 an item.
*Always
*Crest
*Aquafresh
*Herbal Essences
*Maybelline
I also in return (the three receipts in the picture) got a total of $3.50 in coupons to use on what I want. To make this an even sweeter deal you could look at this transaction as spending $7.38 (with tax) but subtracting $3.50 they gave me back, the total then would be $3.88. Which would then make each item .77 cents. (I hope that made sense)

I finished a sewing project!

I made this nursing cover yesterday at our sewing club in our ward. Lets just say this is the 1st project that I have actually finished, and trust me I have started several sewing projects. This was like the easiest thing ever to do. It cost under $8 to make this, and I know these cost more in the store, so it was even better to know that I saved money by making something. I am pretty happy with my self.

Our Stroller!

Today was such a great day. My friend Joanne called and asked if I wanted to go to Babys R Us with her and look at strollers. Of course I said yes, I totally need to go look at them besides of looking at them online. So off we went not really expecting to make a purchase. Well, I did. I bought this stroller for a sale price of $131 and it is originally $220. I was marked 40% off because it was an open boxed item.

Thanks you so much Joanne!

On Monday, Eric and I went to the beach with his family. The weather was perfect and the water wasn't too cold.
