My Walgreens trip. All of this came to a total of $5.23 for 4- 2 liters of Pepsi Products, Dawn soap, Sweedish Fish, 2 Ritz Crackers, 1 case of 24 bottles of water and Quaker Oatmeal Pancake Mix. That equals to about .58 cents per item. Score!!

My Garden

This is our little garden that we planted several weeks ago, I've always wanted to get into gardening but didn't think I had the touch for it. But, after a short while we saw these, and we can't even remember what they are. How sad is that?

These are the beautiful roses my mother-in-law Sherry gave me and aren't they pretty.

Shortly after we planted the roses they died, which made me question if I was cut out for this whole gardening thing. You can see the dead one in the middle of the plant. So I neglected it and left it alone to see what would happen and now we have some new blooms coming in, yeah.

Those little blooms that you saw in the beginning turned into these huge monsters, all I know is that they are some kind of squash.

We also planted some peas. I didn't think they were going to survive because we planted them late in the season and it was getting hot, but they are survivors, we have had some blooms, but we'll see.

Ticket to Ride

Ok this like totally just happened.

Ok this is hilarious!!!

Ok I was playing Ticket to Ride online. Me being evil, and playing the game to win, cause in games that is your goal, was blocking people. Well there seems to be this person, Liberty Bell, not to mention any names, we always end up in a game together and I guess I have blocked her before (oh boo) and she was complaining (oh boo again) and then, yeah get this, she put me on a block list, so I can't play anymore games against her. How lame is that, it is just a game. Her name is Liberty Bell, just to let you know. They were talking about it right in front of me online and I told them that it was lame and that you shouldn't show where they are going if you don't want to be blocked.

You know what I am saying?

Ya Dig?

At 10:00 at night I thought that this was freaking hilarious!

P.S. Just to let you know I didn't even win, but because I blocked her umm like twice she only got 60 points and I didn't even mean to block her the second time, ok maybe I did. :)

I have been on a cooking kick. Yesterday I made Lasagna with out boiling the noodles, I have to say it is the best lasagna that I have ever made. (it does not look pretty but it was so good) I have always hated making lasagna because of boiling the noodles. I used regular lasagna noodles, with out boiling them, and put just a little bit of sauce in the bottom of the pan, then assemble as normal, cover with foil, make sure it is sealed tightly so the noodles will cook, and bake for an hour.

Today I made homemade pancakes for the first time, once again they were the bomb. I don't think I'll ever by the mix again. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/4 cup milk
1 egg
3 Tbsp butter
Mix the dry ingredients, then mix the wet ingredients and combine.
If any of you have a recipe for wheat pancakes can you let me know.

I have been thinking about families lately. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have, to know that families are forever.
