I wish I wouldn't of read so many things while I was pregnant. After reading those books (and articles online), I had in my head how everything would work out, and set expectations for my newborn who has no idea of the world around him. I think by reading those books it has cause unnecessary frustration/stress. I have come to the conclusion that mothers did just fine before their were books about different parenting topics, I am going to go directly to the source as they did, other mothers.
I will say this the only book that I have actually thought was great and would possibly recommend would be "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" (even though I have gotten half way through it).
Anyways Walker is doing great, he is trying to roll over. He has done it once but all the other times he gets half way and then rolls back. He is a joy to have even though I get frustrated when he wakes up in the middle of the night because he became unswaddled. He is definitely a mover and twitcher when he sleeps. I swear the only time this boy sits still is when he is in his stroller outside. He loves his stroller, I am so glad I don't have to use the car seat because he hates it!
On a side note I have a new calling: 1st counselor in the YW

I know what you mean sometimes. I guess we can take what works for our own situations and ditch the rest. You're a great mom, Jenny!
