Ok all my LDS friends I need some ideas. As some of you may know I am on the enrichment committee. i was the enrichment leader when we lived in huntington beach. that was fun but stressful :) my bishop wanted an activity every month. we'd have bbq's, beach parties, dinners, game nights, and the best was the formal christmas dinner. good luck!
in one of my wards we made crochet or knitted or sewn hats to donate to the local cancer treatment center. Those who knew how taught those who didn't know, so a lot of people ended up learning a new skill and doing a great service.
in my ward now we have a book group, a mothering group, a temple attending group, and some others, all led by different sisters in the ward.
Some of this might change with the changes to the enrichment program, though.
