The Doings Of A 2 Year Old

Walker has become an interesting little boy, to say the least. He loves to help clean the dishes, he will stand at the sink and rinse the dishes off and have me put them in the dishwasher. On other days he likes to drag everything out of the cupboards, pull out all of his toys and play with the toilet. Everyday is something new!

Yesterday I was putting Julian down for a nap and started to wonder why it was so quite. Then I just thought that Walker probably went back down stairs to play with his blocks. Well...I walk out of Julian's room and see a little funny white kid sitting on my bed, so I had to run and get my camera.

Here is an eye wittiness account of what happened...

Are you wondering what he used...Butt Cream. That stuff is hard to get off too, goodness! At least it tells me that when I use it, that it actually stays on him. :)

Ok I can't do a post without posting a picture of my little cutie Julian! He's almost 5 months and wears 9 month clothing because he a long string bean.

(Natalie, for some reason I thought of Darren when I saw this)

I love getting pictures of Walker and Julian together, especially when they are talking to one another!

Adventure

Yesterday I was feeling a little spontaneous, so we went for a 4 hour round trip drive to Ruidoso, NM. Eric and I use to go do things randomly but when we had Walker we didn't do it as much and then with Julian it was pretty much non existence. But that's going to change especially after this trip. It was totally worth it and I was so glad we did it. We had such a great time making memories, and an extra bonus Walker and Julian did a fabulous job riding in the car.

Along the way we saw people climbing a hill at White Sands and we just had to stop. Walker wasn't so sure about all the sand at first but when it was time to go he didn't want to leave.

The drive to Ruidoso to be honest was pretty darn ugly but when we got closer it was so amazing. I would never think that there could be a place like this in New Mexico and only about 2 hours from us.

Walker ending up spilling his drink on him so we had to take it off because it was soaked. Then Eric had a great idea of taking his picture like this. Walker loved it! I think it was a rush for him.

On the way home the sunset was so spectacular.
