Proud Mommy

It seems as if the littlest things make me so happy.

Before we moved to Wyoming Walker was going to bed between 6 and 7 and then waking up at 5 to eat, then going back to bed until about 7. We'll that quickly changed when we moved here. So the first few days when we moved into the new apartment Walker was waking up at night at least 5 times and was needing to be comforted. I understand it at first because we are in a new place, but this is still going on but now he is waking up atleast twice a night now.

He has been coming unswaddled because he is too long for the blankets and he is rolling over in his sleep.

We'll today I am a proud mommy because Walker just went down for his first nap unswaddled! He only cired for 10 minutes, which is a new record for him. I am probably getting ahead of myself on this becaue it might just be a one time thing, but it gives me hope that this is in our new future!

I would go take a picture because I am so happy but I don't wont to risk the chance of waking him up.

6 months

It is hard the believe that Walker is 6 months. So for this little celebration we went on a little adventure to "Medicine Bow National Forest: Barber Lake". We had a great time besides that it is mosquito mating season. We had a little picnic and then walked down to the river. We'll the lake, to me was more or a pond but made for nice pictures.

Here are a few pictures from our little adventure.

I must say Walker was so good on the 30 minute drive there and while we were at the picnic and on the way back. Once we got back of course we had to take some more pictures. And we also have to note that Walker is in his highchair for the first time. He is such a big boy!

Doctor

I went to Walkers Doctor's office today. And I must say I absolutely love it! It is way better than the one in Sacramento, which I must say isn't hard to do.

Wyoming

We'll we finally have the internet.

We left California on Wednesday and I must say I was completely impressed with Walker. He was a much better travel buddy than what I had expected. He really didn't cry at all, but he really didnt take very many naps in the car.

We moved into our apartment on Friday and I am completely satisfied with it. I am amazed at how much I like it for not seeing it and not knowing the floor plan or anything. I love the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with a full size stove, a dishwasher and a dinning area that doesn't have carpet.

The bedrooms, well look like bedrooms.

Going from our Sacramento apartment with a tiny stove to this stove, it feels so big and now I can use all my pans instead of trying to figure out what pan I should use that would fit in my oven.

This past Sunday we went to church but we went to the wrong ward, so I don't have much to say on that.

There are things that I could complain about but I think I probably shouldn't and see if this place will grow on me. I do miss my friends from Sacramento. I will have to admit that that has been the hardest part for me, and yes I have creid, I am a bit of a panzy.

Sleep

So I have been a little frustraited the last couple of days because of Walkers sleep habits. So to start it out, we tried him on soy (again) and it was a no go. It made him severely constipated, which equals an very unhappy little boy. And now that that has passed he started to decide to roll over in his sleep (again) and wake up screaming. Pretty much once he rolls over he keeps on doing it all night. And now on to his new thing, he has completely out grown the swaddling blankets, so now he comes unswaddled and wakes up. He is a big time mover in his sleep! We have tried the whole sleeping on the stomach thing and last time it was a complete no go. As soon as you would lay him on his stomach he would push himself up and look around like it was time to get up, or the other opotions he would just scream. I think I am about to pull some all nighters to break him of this swaddeling thing. I have no idea what to do.
