It's official

Walker is growing! He rolled over today! You could see the look of surprise and excitement on his face.

He rolled from his back to his stomach and then lifted his self up with his arms. He is such a big boy now.

Sorry I didn't take a picture because for 1 thing I couldn't find my camera and for 2nd lets just say he wasn't very modest. He seems to always do the cutest things when he is like that. I think we might have a problem when he is older.

Whats been going on

We are still waiting to hear back from one more school to make our final decision. Eric is already accepted to the University of Wyoming and we are all set up their with classes. This is Eric's last week of work and then he will be taking time off with the paid family leave act. He is so excited to go to school. He is actually ready to move and normally that's me.

Walker is doing great. He was sleeping through the night until we went to Eric's parents for Easter. He doesn't do to well when he doesn't sleep in his crib. Picky baby. He is still trying to roll over. He gets about half way and then turns the other way. He is enjoying tummy time much more.

MLB material

We'll I don't know of any of you know this but you can not find MLB cotton material any where besides on e-bay for an insanely high price. I didn't know that MLB material was rare to find because they pulled their license.

It was because some lady named Karen was selling tissue box cover with baseball team logos on it on e-bay. The MLBP contacted ebay and said that she doesn't have the authorization to sell because the logos are copyrighted. So because of her the MLBP pulled all licensing of making cotton material with team logos.

I wish....

I wish I wouldn't of read so many things while I was pregnant. After reading those books (and articles online), I had in my head how everything would work out, and set expectations for my newborn who has no idea of the world around him. I think by reading those books it has cause unnecessary frustration/stress. I have come to the conclusion that mothers did just fine before their were books about different parenting topics, I am going to go directly to the source as they did, other mothers.

I will say this the only book that I have actually thought was great and would possibly recommend would be "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" (even though I have gotten half way through it).

Anyways Walker is doing great, he is trying to roll over. He has done it once but all the other times he gets half way and then rolls back. He is a joy to have even though I get frustrated when he wakes up in the middle of the night because he became unswaddled. He is definitely a mover and twitcher when he sleeps. I swear the only time this boy sits still is when he is in his stroller outside. He loves his stroller, I am so glad I don't have to use the car seat because he hates it!

On a side note I have a new calling: 1st counselor in the YW

Mustache Party

Eric has been begging to draw a mustache on Walker.
